Welcome
Sangre de Cristo Warmbloods is dedicated to producing fine Warmblood Sport Horses from today's most successful sires worldwide. Our facility, the Taos Equestrian Center, is where we offer a wide variety of services including boarding, lessons, training and clinics in an intimate atmosphere located at the base of the Sangre de Cristo Mountain Range in Northern New Mexico, minutes from the Taos Ski Valley and the famous art colony of Taos.
Sangre de Cristo means "blood of Christ" in Spanish, and is the name of the principal mountain range in Taos, NM. Sangre de Cristo describes the light on the mountains in Northern New Mexico, shown in this photo taken at Taos Equestrian Center at dawn, when we're up feeding the horses. We invite you to visit this sacred place.
Quality is our emphasis, whether you are looking for your next dressage partner or a safe riding environment. Please browse through our website and do not hesitate to contact us if you would like more information.
