Rachel Hall
Children’s Riding Instructor and Head Stable Girl
Rachel began riding at Broadmeadows Farm, Bucks County, PA. when she was seven years old. She soon began showing at the local Grange Fair, and by fourteen was teaching other children hunt seat equitation as well as jumping at the Broadmeadows Farm summer camp. She also taught nightly group, semi-private and private riding lessons. Her first adventure out West was at Taos Ski Valley where she was a trail guide for Rio Grande Stables. Rachel found Taos Equestrian Center on the internet and knew this was where she wanted to be. She has many loyal fans among her young students, aged two and up. Rachel also trains and shows the TEC horses at local and regional shows.
"I love teaching because I enjoy seeing my students succeed, having a good time and bonding with the horses. I really enjoy working at the Taos Equestrian Center because of the positive attitude of the students and owners, the respect for the animals, and the caring environment. I have also learned new techniques and training ideas and as well as holistic stable management. I look forward to teaching your children this year!"
