| Boarding Taos Equestrian Center features short & long term boarding, stalls with turnouts, outdoor paddocks, heated indoor washrack with hot & cold water, 24 hour supervision, a cross country course, trail access, turnout areas, dressage arena, roundpen, covered arena with rubber crumb footing, full sized outdoor arena, a full set of stadium jumps, speed event equiptment, dressage letters, transport & onsite training available. All incoming horses must have a current negative coggins and it is reccomended that they adhere to our vaccination and worming schedule. All boarders must sign a boarding contract. FEE SCHEDULE 2008 Boarding: Stall in Barn: $600 per month Includes 5xday feeding, shavings, blanketing, manure removal, turnout (except Sundays and holidays, which are “owner” days.) Turnout with Shed: $400 per month Includes 3x day feeding Blanketing extra ($5 per day) Absentee owner/trainer fee: $100 per month per horse flat rate (barn and outside). (Rates are tied to the price of shavings, hay, and fuel and may go up. Management will give 30 days notice to boarders) Board is due on the 1st of the month. Any payment made after the 5th of the month will incur a late fee of $15 per horse. Other Services: Grooming, hoof picking, holding for farrier and/or vet, hospital stall services ($10/hour; $5/half hour). Trailering: $50/hour minimum Flat “concierge fee” $50/week includes daily grooming, hoof picking, light hand walking. Lessons: On a TEC Horse $65 per hour private lesson $600 ten lessons pre-paid (must be used within three months) $70 per hour dressage lesson on Kirro $45 per hour semi-private On personal or leased TEC horse $45 per hour private lesson $30 per hour semi-private Leasing: Half- lease. $400 per month. Allows lessor to ride 2-3 times per week, one of which must be a lesson. All rides must be by appointment. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Lessor pays ˝ vet, farrier, bodywork, supplements. $75 per month tack fee if lessor does not own equipment that fits the horse. $200 per month for outside pony, no grain. Same other fees apply. Full lease. $600 per month stabled horse (Kirro: $750). Lessor pays full price for farrier, vet, bodywork, supplements, etc. Tack fee: $150 if lessor doesn't own equipment that fits the horse. One lesson per week required. Arena (Haul-in) Fee: $15 per use. $100/ten pack. Trail Rides: On a TEC horse: $110 for a 2.5-3 hour ride (includes hauling) On a leased on personal horse: $50 (hauling and guiding) |
