The colt, "Windhover" ("Windy") born early one windy snowy morning April 2, is by the legendary dressage stallion Weltmeyer, out of a premium imported mare "Ensenada" by Ex Libris. He was perfectly formed and well muscled since day one, and has a beautiful head and graceful way of moving. There is nothing gawky or ungainly about this light bay boy with long white stockings. He has very strong opinions about things, and the charisma of a star, even at the tender age of two and a half months. He is named after Gerard Manly Hopkins' poem "Windhover."

"Rosalinda" by Rosenkönig (which means Rose King in German) was born on the morning of April 24, and is out of Tiny Chapeau, a 1997 thoroughbred mare who is also on the Oldenburg NA main mare book. Rosie is a pert little dark brown filly with perfect conformation who loves attention.' She has the beautiful floaty movement of her sire and the quiet temperament of both her parents. She lives in the barn with her mother, but is turned out every day with the other mares and foals to run around when she feels like it and lie in the sun when she doesn't.

"Camelia" a light bay filly by the star Holsteiner stallion Camiros, out of a thoroughbred mare "Editorial Text," who is also on the Holsteiner and Oldenburg NA main mare books, was born May 22 and is "all girl!" She's a beautiful, sprightly little thing who is surprisingly fast and athletic for her tender age. She will be registered Holsteiner, and should do very nicely at the breed shows this summer, with her elegant movement and feminine head. She lives outside in a paddock with her mother and Windy and his mother.
