Stall in Barn: $650 per month includes:
Feeding 5 times per day (3 hay plus 2 grain – 14% Patriot ADM), shavings, blanketing, manure removal, turnout (except Sundays and holidays, which are “owner” days.)
Turnout with Shed: $450 per month includes:
Feeding 3 times per day plus grain if needed.
Blanketing extra ($5 per day)
Owners who are away for more than a few days must make arrangements with barn management for concierge and exercise service. “Friends” may not come in to TEC to perform concierge services or exercise.
Absentee owner/trainer fee: $100 per month per horse flat rate (barn and outside).
Rates are tied to the price of shavings, hay, and fuel and may go up. Management will give 30 days notice to boarders. Board is due on the 1st of the month. Any payment made after the 10th of the month will incur a late fee of $25.

On a TEC Horse $65 per hour private lesson; $75 -- 1.5 hours

Lessons include catching and haltering, grooming, tacking up and tacking down.
$700 per month (5 times per week) or $40/hour (these are base rates and may vary depending on the needs of the particular horse or rider).
Half- lease: $400 per month. Allows lessor to ride 2-3 times per week, one of which must be a lesson. All rides must be by appointment. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Lessor pays ½ vet, farrier, bodywork, supplements. $75 per month tack fee if lessor does not own equipment that fits the horse. $200 per month for outside pony, no grain. Same other fees apply.
Full lease: $600 per month stabled horse . Lessor pays full price for farrier, vet, bodywork, supplements, etc. Tack fee: $150 if lessor doesn't own equipment that fits the horse. One lesson per week required.
$15 per use or $100 for a ten pack.
On a TEC horse: $125 for a 2.5-3 hour ride (includes hauling)
On a leased on personal horse: $65 (hauling and guiding)
Grooming, hoof picking, holding for farrier and/or vet, hospital stall services ($20/hour; $20/half hour).
Trailering: $50/hour minimum
Flat Concierge Fee: $50/week includes daily grooming, hoof picking, light hand walking.
Farrier: Boarders are free to use their own farrier. At the moment, the barn farrier is James Annon, and trims are done by Mark Eden.
Vet: Bessie Babbits DVM is available on a limited basis for local routine work. TEC has a well stocked pharmacy, a truck and trailer if horses need to be hauled to Santa Fe. Dr. Holly Johnson, a DVM trained in acupuncture, herbs, and osteopathy, may also be available to assess and treat horses for non-routine conditions. An equine dentist visits twice a year for routine and specialized dentistry, and TEC does its own vaccines and worming (every other month rotation.
